The EU! Concept

EU! has a specific purpose - to empower you and prepare you to create peace, opportunity and wellbeing for yourself and humanity as a whole.

As such, it is significantly different to a normal university:

  • there’s no campus or structure

  • anybody 14 and over can enroll

  • it costs $23 for everybody (no admissions scandals nor student loans!)

  • you can help create the courses

  • courses are focused towards empowering you and creating the path to POW

  • there are no exams or grading

  • on graduation you receive ownership in NUKO instead of a certificate

  • everybody graduates* - you learn as much as you want to.

*unless you don’t adhere to the guiding principles.

The Challenge

Why EU! is like it is

The Empower U! Challenge is how to create an affordable way for millions of Members to:

  • empower themselves

  • create peace, opportunity and wellbeing for themselves

  • learn how to reinvent the rules by which humanity governs ourselves, and

  • help create peace, opportunity and wellbeing for humanity

without creating a top-down structure.


To create a framework where Members

  • learn the skills and gain the experience necessary to meet the EU Challenge objectives

  • contribute to the design and content in the framework

  • own the intellectual property so created.

In this way:

  • the “wisdom of the crowd” enables a better outcome than a top-down one

  • Members own the intellectual property that they co-create

  • the costs of building a top-down structure are avoided

The key determinant of success will be to manage the design and content development process to avoid it becoming unwieldy.



The framework consists of Streams, Courses, Experiences and Transfers.

Streams are general areas of focus encompassing the more specific Courses and Experiences necessary to meet the Challenge objectives

  • the Star Stream focussing on personal development

  • the Platform Stream where Members learn how to develop a reinvention platform, and then do it

  • the Reinvention Stream where Members use the reinvention platform to experience reinventing real-world systems, and

  • the NUKO Stream where Members design and create an organization.

Apart from the Reinvention Stream, which can only take place after the Platform Stream is completed, the Streams run concurrently.

Note that Members choose their own level of involvement. There is no requirement to do everything or anything for that matter. Nor is the timing rigid -as Members are co-creating the courses and experiences, the framework has to be flexible.


Upon graduation (everybody graduates) the following transfers are made:

  • the Intellectual Property (IP) created by Members (the Courses, the Platform and the Reinventions) are transferred from Empower U! to NUKO

  • the ownership of NUKO is transferred from Empower U! to Members.

As a result, Members now own the means, as well as the expertise, to spread Peace, Opportunity and Wellbeing for all.!

Course Development Process

Co-creating a course requires a different process than the usual top-down, professor- or author-led process.

Take systems thinking for example. Clearly, to reinvent systems requires knowledge of systems thinking, but there are many models that describe how to do it. In a top down process, one author makes all the decisions; in the EU! process there may be hundreds of people who wish to contribute, which makes decision making more complex (to say the least!).

A successful process requires:

  • the course concept to be clear about what what is to be achieved

  • openness and flexibility about content (there’s more than one way to do it)

  • willingness to experiment.

Once an invitation is issued, anybody can join the development process; we consider this will be as great (or greater) a source of learning than the course itself.

Course development will commence as soon as possible.
