The New Nuclear Game
PEACE IS NOT AN OPTION
There are 9,220 hydrogen bombs in the world, that we know of. Enough to annihilate the world many times over. For 70 years, it has been clear that if anybody uses one, Armageddon will follow.
But that has changed.
The US has committed to spend $1.7 trillion over the next few decades to replace its nuclear capability with new weapons and AI-driven delivery platforms, including space.
Included in that total is the new low yield, high accuracy W76-2 warhead, which changes the game. Why? It’s designed to be actually used.
Think about that: the Pentagon is planning to use nuclear weapons. Again.
As insane as that may sound, it forces Russia and China to do likewise, so as not to be left behind. Not to mention India and Pakistan. Not to mention France, the UK and Israel.
WELCOME TO COLD WAR 2.0
Put it all together and you can see the in the next couple of decades, the nuclear powers will spend upwards of, say, $3 trillion on new nuclear weapons of mass-murder.
But that’s not all. Nuclear is only a portion. Just at current expenditures, countries will spend $30 trillion in the next 20 years to be able to kill each other.
This military madness is all driven by fear. Fear that adversaries will catch up, fear that adversaries will pull ahead. Fear of not looking strong. Fear of losing power.
Nobody in the military has the courage to stand up and say it is madness. Peace is not on the agenda.
